DevOps Intern

Keeps three products deployed, cached and reachable.

contact@amyreil.online

About the role

The setup is small and fully ours: this site and AmyLearn's front end on Vercel, AmyLearn's services on Render, DNS on Cloudflare, the amyreil.online domain, and a Windows desktop app delivered as an installer. There is no dedicated operations team and no budget for a tool you cannot justify in one sentence.

Why join us

  • Three real products, not a training demo. Trikal Darshi is live, AmyLearn is in beta and HotelEase v2.2 is shipped.
  • Six founders and no layers. The person who reviews your work is the person who set the scope.
  • Your work reaches production. This site rebuilds on every push to main, on a domain people visit.
  • The week is built around your classes. We judge what lands, not how long you stayed online.

What you will do

  • Watch deployments and roll back what breaks. The site rebuilds on every push to main.
  • Own the configuration: vercel.json clean URLs, cache rules, security headers and redirects.
  • Keep DNS and TLS healthy across the apex and the www record.
  • Check page weight and Core Web Vitals after each release instead of once a quarter.
  • Set up alerts worth reading, and delete the ones that are not.
  • Write the setup down so the next person is not guessing.

What you will learn

  • Edge hosting, cache behaviour and header mechanics on a real domain.
  • Release discipline: preview deployments, clean URLs, and redirects that do not fight the canonical tags.
  • Measuring performance with Lighthouse instead of arguing about it.
  • Log triage across two hosts with different failure modes.
  • How a desktop app is versioned and delivered when no server is involved.

Requirements

  • You are in your 2nd or 3rd year of a degree or diploma.
  • Comfortable on the command line and with Git.
  • You understand HTTP, DNS and HTTPS well enough to explain what a 308 does.
  • One scripting language good enough to automate a chore: Bash, Node or Python.
  • Willing to learn Vercel, Render and Cloudflare as we actually use them.
  • Calm when something is down, and curious before it is fixed.

Perks

  • You will change production configuration on a live domain, with review, not a sandbox.
  • Direct access to the founder who set up the hosting and DNS.
  • A short list of tools, all of them real, none of them ceremonial.
  • A written internship letter and a reference you can use afterwards.
  • You will learn why a canonical tag and a redirect have to agree.

The honest terms.

  • Every role here is an internship, open to students in their 2nd or 3rd year of a course.
  • These are unpaid positions. There is no stipend at present, and we would rather say it here than in an interview.
  • Amyreil Technologies is not incorporated in any country. We plan to incorporate in India at a later date. Until then, nothing on this page is an offer of employment.
  • All work is remote. There is no walk-in office to report to.
  • We hire on the stack these three products already use. If the work needs a different tool, you should be open to learning it.

Send your work.

Put DevOps Intern in the subject, link your GitHub or portfolio, and say which parts of the stack you have already used. We reply within one working day.
